About the Children's Festival
Weld RE5J Early Childhood and Johnstown Milliken Life (formerly 'Johnstown Milliken News') are planning the Spring 2020 Children's Festival. This annual event is held for families with young children and is an opportunity for them to receive information about health, safety, early childhood education and other topics. It is also an opportunity for families in our community to learn about what organizations, clubs, churches, government entities and businesses have to offer them. The environment is fun, inviting and engaging with plenty of activities and entertainment.
Plans currently include:
- Entertainment and Demonstrations
- Prize Walk – (like a Cake Walk) Held at regular intervals throughout the day for 2-12 yr olds.
- Community Services – including police and fire departments and the medical evacuation helicopter.
